How We Serve

newsboys paper

Scott's heart and energy is in the well known St. Louis charity, Old Newsboys. He has spent several years watching Old Newsboys impact children right here in St. Louis. After being introduced to the organization by his good friend and past president of the Suburban Journals, Joe Pepe, he was eager to help raise money for St. Louis’s children.

Scott has played a prominent role serving with the leadership team of Old Newsboys. It has been their passion over the years to help Old Newsboys keep alive the tradition of never turning away a child in need for assistance.

“Old Newsboys has been coined as the “charity of last resort”. He spends time each year assisting with grant selection, "I am truly amazed at the impact this group of generous people make on our community by providing items such as blankets, tricycles, learning tools, and first aid kits, just to mention a few. It is truly a blessing to be a part of a tradition as unique and special as Old Newsboys!”
